  • Jaehun Jung, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine at Korea University College of Medicine, Seoul, Korea. He obtained his MD from Korea University College of Medicine, followed by an MPH and PhD from Korea University Graduate School. His postgraduate training included a residency in preventive medicine at Korea University. Dr. Jung previously served as an Associate Professor at Gachon University College of Medicine and was the Chief of the Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Convergence Center at Gachon University Gil Medical Center. His expertise spans epidemiology, vaccine research, infectious diseases, and real-world evidence, with a focus on addressing global health challenges. Dr. Jung has published extensively in high-impact journals on topics such as the epidemiology of infectious diseases, vaccine effectiveness, and the public health impact of non-pharmaceutical interventions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
