Ji Hyeon Ju, MD, PhD, is a Professor of Rheumatology at The Catholic University of Korea. In addition to his role in academia, he serves as the CEO of YiPSCELL, a biotechnology company dedicated to the development of stem cell-based treatments. The company specializes in producing stem cell lines derived from both normal individuals and patients using cutting-edge stem cell technology known as "induced pluripotent stem cell" (iPSC). Dr. Ju obtained his MD degree from the College of Medicine at The Catholic University in 1997, followed by an MS degree in 2002 and a PhD in 2010, both from The Catholic University. He holds a pivotal role as the Director of the Clinical Academic Committee of the Korea Society of Stem Cell Research (KSSCR) and serves as a board member of the Korean College of Rheumatology (KCR).
